“ Nice little shop located next to the seafood city and Red Ribbon bakery. They have a wide variety of Filipino baked goods. My favorite is Ube flavored anything and they have a lot of that. From Ube pan de Sal, Ube coffee cake, Ube pastillas de leches. The service was quick and the person at the register was helpful and polite. I ended up ordering buying an Ube coffee cake and some Turon. They were both awesome tasting. If you're looking for an easy no fuss Filipino bakery give this place a try. ”

“ Parking is always a nightmare but it's worth it for their fresh pandesal. I will wait in my car for parking for over 15min just to get their pandesal. It's fresh and warm and it's not on the shelf, you have to ask for it and you see them go to the back to bring it out. Since it's fresh they give it in a paper bag but once the bread is cooled down they also give a plastic bag to put the bread inside to keep it soft if you don't happen to finish it all in one day. It's soft fluffy and so good I can literally eat it alone. It's easy to pop in the oven or air fryer to reheat for an easy to-go breakfast with egg and cheese or whatever you want to put in it. I don't go anywhere else for pandesal. One piece is the size of my palm and one is a great portion size but I can still eat two or three because it's that yummy The store is clean and well organized I have to refrain from looking at the shelves because everything looks so good i end up over buying. I love that they take Apple Pay now too. So easy to get in and get out even when there's a line wrapped around the middle shelves ”

“ This was a surprise! I didn't intend to go here on early Thanksgiving morning as a family member had asked for a pastry. I actually had meant to get something from next door. This bake shop is known for the Filipino dinner rolls, pan de sal. We are good on starches at home so passed on it. Pan de sal literally means "salt bread" but it does not taste salty at all and more subtly sweet w/a pillowy texture. The name originated during the 16th century Spanish colonial era. Anyway, there are so many ube options. I opted to try the ube roll which is like a loaf of ube cake and a bit of sugar on the outside. I like it with coffee. Hubby and I agree it is on the dry side. The surprise for me is the 4 pack of pork siopao located in their fridge. I brought one to work for my break and it seems fresh and tasty. I guess I was used to buying the frozen ones from a grocery store in Gardena. The shop is tiny but they sure cram a lot of baked goods in there. The presentation of goods is very plain and could use a makeover I remember a decade ago they used to be cash only but so glad they take cards now. Service was pleasant. The gal at the register was so kind. It's more like 3.5 stars but I will round it up. Will be back for the pan de sal. ”

“ It's hot, it's cramped, it's located in a very busy plaza next to Seafood City. But I LOVE this place sooo much!! Let's back track a bit. I grew up around all these delicious pastries. I never really ate any of them because I always saw it as "old people" food. But now that I'm not around it, I miss it so much. So I guess that means I'm old now. I come here every time I visit my family and I have to refrain from buying everything. Everywhere I look, there is something I want. Of course I HAVE to get Ube stuff. And it's the real Ube stuff, not the trendy hipster Ube that's super fake tasting but everyone says is good. Going back to their Ube stuff, I get it all. The Ube filled pandesal and the Ube brownies are a must. I'm also a sucker for the ensaymadas and the karioka. They have so many other things, I could go on and on. Empanadas, mamon, bibinka, turon, hopia and of course freshly baked pandesal. During my last visit, my total was $65!!!! I obviously splurged since I knew I wasn't going to be back for a while. Brave the $h!t show parking lot and get yourself some delicious baked goods!!! ”

“ Oh goodness. This place smelled so good. Walking in made me sigh in happiness. We ordered everything; sweets, breads, and snacks. Seeing as we don't have a Filipino bakery near home (in Florida), I grabbed everything I could that had ube in it. The employees laughed when my mom and her sisters would tease each other about who is getting fatter because of all the food we were talking home. It felt like the Wonka Factory, but covered on delicious Filipino treats instead of Wonka Bars. Why does it have to be so far away?!?! ”

“ I have not tried everything, but..... from what I have tried, I LOVE IT! lol First, the customer service is awesome. They are so nice and just friendly to chat with. The staff and customers do don't rush me when I keep adding more items to my bill when I am at the counter lol. Just overall super nice peeps. There is so much to choose from. Especially, when you have hot items where you are going to call ahead and place them on hold for you or else they will be out, aka the Ube Bochi Bochi. The Ube Bochi Bochi is soooo good! It definitely hit the ube craving that most places don't satisfy. It is filled with Ube paste and covered with sweet rice flour in the shape of a ball. it has a slight crunch on the exterior as it is deep fried and it tastes bomb! I love their Buko Pandan, just make sure you add some ice to your cup. I could eat the Filipino style Tamales all the time. It is sweet and savory packed into a banana leaf. There is chicken and coconut milk with it, and it is bomb, especially when you are on the go. The Ube Baskets are delicious! Another must have item. “ Very fond childhood memories here! My dad used to take me to a salon across the street for haircuts, and we would come here after for fresh, hot pandesal. It's one of the softest, fluffiest bread rolls imaginable! I remember the lines always went out the door when they baked a new batch. The staff was super efficient bagging all the pandesal, getting orders fulfilled, and keeping the line moving. We'd eat a few before heading to the car, it's that good! Come by around 7AM when they first open if you want the freshest batch possible. They used to do another fresh batch in the afternoon but I don't know if they still do that. Recently I visited around noon, so the pandesal was already packaged and sitting out for a couple of hours. But it's not a big deal because you can reheat the bread at home and it tastes just as good! Ten seconds in the microwave is enough. The pandesal also freezes well, just in case you purchase too many or you can't visit too often. I've tried their other baked goods/pastries over the years like ensaymadas, empanadas, turon, etc. which were also tasty but I don't love them as much. You'll find them in the Seafood City plaza! Right between Jollibee and Red Ribbon Bakery. ”
